Help figure out BMW ICOM A2 ISTA-P Error 94201: technical service initialization failed
ISTA D – work perfect but ISTAP shows error message:
94201: technical service initialization failed, 10007 (CIP) Fault during initialization of EDIABAS

Solution 1:
install EDIABAS_7.3.0 patched,and try, 100% work

Solution 2:
If using D+CAN cable you need to run ‘network tool’ and reboot.
You may have to do that if using loader instead of native install
Solution 3:
I install Standart tools 2.12 and increased the disk space to over 150GB and all is well

Step 1: Close the communication in ISTA-P
Step 2: Disconnect BMW ICOM from the car
Step 3: Disconnect the battery inside the car for 10 minutes around
Step 4: Re-connect the battery and start ISTA-P
Step 5: Turn on the ignition switch
Step 6: Re-connect the ICOM emulator to the car
Step 7: Select ICOM when ISTA-P is connected to the management
Step 8: Start programming
Step 9: The solution doesn’t work for you and the error remains, please:
Close the communication (ISTA-P and the car)
Make sure there is no activated programming communication from the repairing garage
Restart the communication devices (PC, ISID/ISSS)
Try another ICOM to start a new programming
Connect the ICOM to the car
Turn on the ignition switch!!!!!!!!!!!If all solutions can not work for you, please follow description of [00044444EN]and collect the log file, the ask for tech support.
