Digiprog 3 v4.94 odometer correction tool master package comes with a cigarette lighter cable. If you find your cigarette lighter cable cannot connect to your DigiProg main unit (the connector is too small to connect firmly). Then follow instruction here.
Then you have to replace a new cigarette lighter. If your Digiprog3 is bought from us, then obd2diy.fr customer service will resend the cigarette lighter to you.
When work DP3 indoor (need to dissemble the dashboard situation), you can use the switching power supply cable to feed battery.
When connecting DigiProg to your vehicle’s OBD port, DO NOT also connect DigiProg to vehicles cigarette lighter – else you’ll blow it’s circuitry and void warranty. In which case we WILL NOT refund.
If you do not want to take a risk, better use the cigarette lighter under proper guidance.
