Which is the best: Auro Otosys im100 or Xtool x100 pad 2 or Obdstar X300 DP?
And what is the difference??
Note that all info below is reliable, coz here are opinions from users.
OtoSys IM100 vs Xtool X100 Pad 2:
IM100 is more professional than X100 in key programming, and as far as I know, X100 supports some car diagnostic function which IM100 doesn’t have
OtoSys IM100 vs Obdstar X300DP:
I have both, IM600 and X300 DP. The problem with Chinese tools is you can’t get one programmer to cover all brands and models. For example I got 07 Jaguar XKR needed add one more smart key. Tried to use Lonsdor , no works, X300 worked success. Didn’t try IM600 but wasn’t sure will work fine. Also USA VW 2010 and up all key lost to work with cluster in service mode X300 works fine, IM600 doesn’t work.
If you have a working key to 4th&5th generation of vw, yes, can add new keys. But, All key lost doesn’t. They have video for that but software still under development, they not release it.
